In order to work up an appetite and recharge those drained batteries, tourists are invited on trips around the picturesque surroundings of Sinaia, or in other resorts on Prahova Valley, following ranges of varying difficulty. These grow from the easiest ones, which are simply favorable to outdoor movement, to others more difficult, that can entail escalading, all with wonderful landscaping.

During winter, Sinaia is a paradise of snow sports. It is possible to practice, on the designated slopes: cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, randonee skiing, extreme skiing and snowboarding. For those that have not yet tried and that want to experiment the pleasures of skiing, the local ski schools will ensure necessary preparation.

As of historical monuments, you can visit Peles Castle, built between 1875-1883 in German renaissance style, with gothic elements, Sinaia Monastery, built during 1690-1695 by Mihail Cantacuzino and the George Enescu Memorial Home.
